individual therapy
You may already understand why you feel anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, stuck, or disconnected. Understanding matters. But at some point, you want something to change.
That is where I come in.
What’s really keeping you stuck?
Sometimes the part of you that is anxious, angry, ashamed, avoidant, or afraid is trying to protect you in a way that once made sense. Sometimes old experiences are still shaping the way you respond to life now.
We’ll get curious about those patterns rather than simply trying to talk you out of them.
I draw from Internal Family Systems, Rapid Resolution Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, psychodynamic therapy, and other approaches depending on what you need. I may offer a different perspective, ask a question that changes the way you see something, or give you something specific to practice between sessions.
I’m compassionate, but I’m not passive. I will tell you what I’m seeing and what I think may help.
I don’t believe therapy needs to become an endless conversation about the same problem. I want to understand what is happening, look underneath the symptom, and find the places where we can create movement.
“We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.”
- attributed to Confucius.
What you can expect
We’ll identify what is keeping you stuck and work toward meaningful change—not just better insight.
That may mean learning how to respond differently to anxiety, working through shame or grief, understanding recurring relationship patterns, changing an old protective response, or reconnecting with parts of yourself you’ve lost along the way.
I want our work to create movement.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in.
You do need to be willing to be curious, honest, and engaged in the process.
I see you. I understand what’s happening. And I’m going to help you do something about it.
